ICDR
2006 focusses on providing the practical insights
to the business community for the incorporation
of risk assessment, management and monitoring
mechanisms into the development planning vis-à-vis
the environment in which they operate. It also
assesses individual preparedness/ follow-up done
at the participants' end for the commitments made
during WCDR 2005. The aim of this endeavour is
to assess the progress made after the first conference
and to take stock of where do we stand presently
and what is the way forward.
